A Very Merry Christmas Card

Today will be using an ink resist technique with clear embossing powder.

For this holiday card, we will utilize Spellbinder's Clear Stamp of the Month from October titled "To You & Yours". It features an adorable tree crafted from words along with a variety of Christmas sentiments.

Emboss Resist Technique

To start, we will take a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Heavystock that has been trimmed to A2 size. I am utilizing my MISTI stamp positioning tool paired with a Waffle Flower grip mat to secure the cardstock in position. Next, I will apply anti-static powder from Taylored Expressions to eliminate any oils from the card panel. Following this, I'll use my Versamark pad to ink the stamp. The MISTI enables me to stamp the image multiple times to guarantee that every part of the stamp leaves an impression. I will then cover the impression with Brutus Monroe Icicle embossing powder and apply heat with a heat gun to melt the powder.
